Description

Florida 4-40 license holders are required to complete 10 hours of continuing education (CE) every two years. Every license holder must take the 4-Hour Florida Law & Ethics Update course. You cannot repeat the same course within two years and receive ce credit.

Producer licenses are renewed on the last day of your birth month. You can renew your license through MyProfile. You can find instructions on how to check and monitor your CE compliance on the MyProfile Guide.

    I learned insurance all over again. I loved the fact that there was an audio reading for me the whole time. I l was able to retain most of the subjects because i was not too tired from reading. I could just close my eyes and listen, and then answer the quiz confidently.

    I had great difficulty passing this exam, as I am a verbal learner; I also struggle with dyslexia, which can make reading for such long periods of time very challenging. If there was an audible option, it would help individuals such as myself tremendously.

Compliance

You must renew your Florida 4-40 License every two years. While there is no renewal fee, license-holders do need to complete 10 hours of continuing education every renewal period and submit proof to the state in order to stay compliant.

The 10-hours of CE must consist of the 4-hour Florida Law and Ethics Update and an additional 6 hours of elective credits.
