Description
*NEW* Effective August 2025, Louisiana will begin requiring insurance agents to complete 2 hours of legislative updates as part of their renewal. While the legal effective date is August 1, 2025, the actual CE requirement for licensees applies only to those who must renew on or after July 31, 2027. If your renewal takes place before that, you won’t need to take the legislative course until your next renewal cycle.
Our Louisiana 2-Hour Legislative Updates-2026 course is approved by the state and will satisfy your renewal requirement. It covers the state’s unlawful practices, consumer privacy laws, insurance regulation, and any recent updates to insurance laws.
The course expires on December 18th, 2028.
